These developmental playgyms act as both gyms and changing mat mobiles, making it easier to change very new babies as they are fascinated by the dangles, and stay still during nappy changed, and as baby gets older they can be used as activity gyms.

Our silicone playgyms have dangles that provide visual, aural and tactile stimulation, while creating beautiful additions to any room.
They can also be used as tools to make tummy time easier -simply place the gym slightly in front of baby when in the prone position, and this will encourage lifting of the head, developing, back, neck and stomach muscles, and soon baby will also be using the reach-and-grab motion to get at the dangles.
All toys are 100% hand strung, and the frame 100% handmade. As the dangles are made of silicone, they double up as teething toys that can be handed straight to baby, or attached to prams, cots, car seats… anywhere you like! You can safely use all the dangles as teething toys with complete peace of mind, as they are made of solely of food grade silicone and natural  beechwood, which means they are free from all chemicals and plastic.
 
The silicone rubber is soft, and massages angry red gums, providing much needed relief for both mom and baby. We only use 100% Food grade silicone that is BPA free, Cadmium free, Lead free and Phthalates free.
The untreated beachwood is a little harder, which also eases teething pains and provides a harder surface for baby to cut little teeth with (think blitong!) 
Each dangle is attached to rings made of non-splintering maple wood that has been found to assist in the teething process, and are made of 100% food grade silicone beads and beechwood animal shapes (beechwood is the one of only two woods proven safe for teething babies - the other being maple wood) 
No glues or toxic chemicals have been used at any point in the process.
 Please note that all sets are handmade and can take up to 14 days, although we endeavour to have them finished as soon as possible. 
Each gym comes with three dangles as a standard (just to reiterate: each dangle is made of 100% FDA approved silicone and beachwood, so act as teething toys for babies when not in use of the gym), but extra  dangles can be order for your
gym-these can be ordered in the “Extra Dangles for Silicone Playgym/Cot and Pram” section. 
As these are fairly large, shipping will be slightly more than normal - between R75 and R120, depending on where we’re shipping to. 
But we will work out the best rate and charge the bare minimum - we promise!
